What happens when our children are affected by mental health? I have worked with adolescents, teens and adults over the past 15 years dealing with child abuse, neglect, substance abuse, domestic violence and so many other traumatic issues. The children are definitely affected not only physically but in some cases emotionally as well and sometimes grow up to have issues within themselves whether it be a lack is self-esteem, self- worth, paranoia, self-doubt and so many other unhealthy personality traits. The conversation must begin.
